Hi! My name is Aalayah and I a local actress and writer in the Kansas City area! I just graduated in May 2020 with my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting from the Jeanine Dobbins Conservatory of Theatre and Dance. During my training at the Dobbins Conservatory, I starred in various iconic roles such as Julia Gibbs in Our Town, Ruth Younger in A Raisin in the Sun, Queen Anne in The Three Musketeers, and Saint Monica in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot. Along with acting, I also love other aspects of theatre such as directing and writing. I have directed a handful of one acts and am currently working on writing my first screenplay! I began my career acting career in elementary school doing plays such as The Wizard of Oz. I let my love of drama follow me through high school where I performed in shows such as West Side Story, Cinderella, and Little Shop of Horrors. I also participated in programs such as the National Speech and Debate Association. In a nutshell, I am an actress because I not only love it, but because I want to show other girls who are different that it is ok to be confident and happy with themselves.

Some of my other hobbies include stage combat, exercising, writing, making funny videos, baking, and sewing, and fashion.
